A provider's place in the waterfall is not fixed. Cost, hit rate and the market decide where it sits, and sometimes its job is to validate rather than find.

What you learn in the first month
LeadMagic does not have a fixed position in our waterfall. Where it sits depends on cost, hit rate and the market we are working in, and in some runs its job is not to find a contact at all but to validate one another provider has already returned. We do not force a single provider order and keep it, because the order is not the thing worth optimising. What we are after is the highest reliable fill rate at the lowest sensible cost, and which provider gets you there changes with the market.
We earn a commission if you sign up through some of the links on this page. What each tool teaches you is written from running it, and the hosting answer is the same whether we earn on it or not. Where there is no link, there is no programme we are part of.
Where the data sits
The United States. LeadMagic's subprocessor list names Cloudflare, Vercel, Supabase, Neon and Google Cloud for hosting and database storage, every one of them in the United States, with a single UK provider for its support inbox. Its data processing agreement states that it may process customer personal data in the United States and other countries where it or its subprocessors operate, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the UK addendum.
Worth saying plainly: hosting outside the EU can still be GDPR compliant. It is not the same thing as EU data residency, and which one you need depends on who you sell to. What the law actually asks of you is a separate question with a separate answer.
