Expandi

Organic reach falling while outreach rises is the earliest warning we have found, and it shows up well before LinkedIn says anything.

What you learn in the first month

We stay around 20 to 30 connection requests or messages per account per day, and we do not run the same number every day. Volume is randomised and the outreach circulated, because a fixed machine cadence is itself a signal. The sign we actually watch for is not in the tool at all: when an account's organic reach drops during a period of heavier outreach, we treat it as a caution and ease off. That is not proof LinkedIn is punishing the account, but we have seen the pattern across enough accounts to act on it, and acting early is why we rarely see a real restriction. We also leave rented third-party accounts alone. If the account layer is not set up properly, more profiles produce more failure rather than more meetings.

We earn a commission if you sign up through some of the links on this page. What each tool teaches you is written from running it, and the hosting answer is the same whether we earn on it or not. Where there is no link, there is no programme we are part of.

Where the data sits

The Netherlands for hosting, with US processors around it. Expandi's signed data processing agreement names CJ2 Hosting B.V. in the Netherlands as its cloud hosting sub-processor, and lists Zapier in the United States for integrations. Its separate privacy notice is vaguer and says only that data may be transferred outside the EEA with safeguards available on request.

Worth saying plainly: hosting outside the EU can still be GDPR compliant. It is not the same thing as EU data residency, and which one you need depends on who you sell to. What the law actually asks of you is a separate question with a separate answer.
