Clay

Once a table carries several enrichments, waterfalls and AI steps, working out why one row failed and what burned the credits becomes a job of its own.

What you learn in the first month

Complexity and credit burn. A table with a few enrichments is clear. A table with several waterfalls and AI steps is a system, and when one row comes back empty, finding out which step dropped it and what consumed the credits takes real time. Budget for that, and keep tables smaller than feels necessary, because the debugging cost grows faster than the table does.

Where the data sits

Primarily the United States. Clay states that customer data is mainly processed in AWS US-East.

Worth saying plainly: hosting outside the EU can still be GDPR compliant. It is not the same thing as EU data residency, and which one you need depends on who you sell to. What the law actually asks of you is a separate question with a separate answer.
