Airscale
The cost risk is not the first list build, it is the refreshing afterwards. An unwatched refresh schedule is where the spend quietly goes.

What you learn in the first month
Building the list once is the cheap part. What runs up the bill is keeping it current: let the system refresh itself too often without watching when and how often it runs, and usage climbs fast. After the build we control that cadence rather than leaving it on. On fill rate, the layered provider model brings most of it back, and we only go hunting in other sources such as LinkedIn and Sales Navigator when the fill rate falls under roughly 90 percent. The order the providers run in is not a ranking of who holds the best data. It follows the access we already have, the price per record, and how reliable each one has been.
We earn a commission if you sign up through some of the links on this page. What each tool teaches you is written from running it, and the hosting answer is the same whether we earn on it or not. Where there is no link, there is no programme we are part of.
Where the data sits
Not published. Airscale is French, but its privacy policy names no hosting region, country, data centre or cloud provider. It states only that data may be transferred outside your country and that standard contractual clauses are used. A French vendor is not the same thing as French hosting, and here the vendor does not say.
Worth saying plainly: hosting outside the EU can still be GDPR compliant. It is not the same thing as EU data residency, and which one you need depends on who you sell to. What the law actually asks of you is a separate question with a separate answer.
