Outbound Glossary
Subject access request
Someone asking what you hold on them. You have a month, and the hard part is knowing which of your tools to look in.
Under GDPR a person can ask for a copy of their personal data, where it came from and who it has been shared with, and you generally have one month to answer.
In outbound the answer is scattered by design: the sending platform, the enrichment providers, the CRM, the spreadsheet someone exported. If you cannot produce it within a month the problem is not the request, it is that you do not know your own data flow. Mapping it once, before anyone asks, takes an afternoon.
